There are so many different ways to do pushups and body weight exercises in general. I never paid much attention to working out without weights until around a year ago. I was amazed at what you can do with just your bodyweight! I live right off of a nature trail and a small river, I have incorporated a training routine that involves only body weight exercises as well as interval training for cardio with either running, cycling, or on my kayak on the river. It is a great break from the gym and gets me out in to nature while the weather is warm.
There are endless possibilites to body weight training which I think some personal trainers should consider with some of their clients. Instead of taking someone that works in an office all day in to a stuffy gym, why not get them outside in to nature?

His blog is called Fitness Overhaul. Right know he has 3 videos on his site that he is making available for his readers at no cost. I’ve watched them and they are 100% good content.
But, back to the insightful comment that Kelly shared with all the readers, 1) There are a Gazillion exercises our there that can be done with the use of bodyweight, without having to go to the gym to do them.Your limitation is your imagination. 2) While it is not a prerquisite, any exercise, especially body weight exercises without weights would feel more “natural” if done out in the open. Say at a park, or even in the kids playground after school. Dare I say it…? I’d say it’s almost a spiritual experience when you exercise without much equipment. Get to it and enjoy.

Solid review man. I love pushups. You can at least maintain your muscles doing pushups morning and evening. Ylou can even gain strength, but you gotta push yourself hard!
